Bradford's Cut Yourself In Half were formed a little over a year ago from the ashes of 3 bands including the semi- legendary noise rockers Jon Jones Beatnik Movement. A couple of tracks found their way into the hands of New Heavy Sounds and boy were we blown away. Made up of George Quinn on vocals and guitar, Mikey Feather - guitar, Jonny Newell - drums, and Stefan Wilton on bass, these guys have mutated into one hell of a kick-ass riff machine. They emerged briefly but brightly last year to give us the single ‘Say Goodbye To The World’ garnering some great reviews and radio action to boot, before bunkering themselves in the Bradford Grey, honing their chops and formulating their master plan. Imagine if you will the molten stoner grooves of QOTSA and Red Fang, laced with a dose of acid psychedelics and a slab of Mastodon. Filter it through the grime of those dark satanic mills, atom smash it with a filthy amount of screaming hardcore and metal, and play it like your bastard lives depend on it. Believe us when we say: This band are tighter than the bolts on Frankenstein’s monster’s neck and twice as terrifying.
