t (one musical name of Paul Gannaway) started making music at the age of 12 and hasn’t shown any signs of stopping yet, despite numerous attempts by other people to do so. Combining a love of pretty much every musical genre with an inspiration to create innovative music has led to a series of releases on the Nest, Ugly Funk and Werk labels, whilst also making releasing music under a collection of other styles and names (including Shirk, Crud and Bughunt). Cut Out’s music style ranges from ultra-distorted grinding technofunk workouts to pastoral raga-tech and he likes to encourage the unexpected, giving listener’s heads a trip and their asses something to jiggle around to. Collaborations include working with Tobias Schmidt, Chris McCormack and Mothboy and a recent album of Production Music for Standard Music Library. When not making music Cut Out likes to draw, do design stuff, hang out with his girlfriend, watch movies, read, play gameboy, go for walks, drink expensive beer and eat a lot.
