Curtis Edgar Hobock Jr born 7 May 1926 in Tennessee(Hatchie).Joined the Navy in 1942 where he learned to read and write and play guitar. He married Geneveve Johnson in 1945 while waiting to be discharged from Navy. In 1964 he recorded "Hey Everybody" and "What A Dream" and many others.
