- An IndieRock Experience - “Often, Cult Fiction breaks new ground in some way. It is explicit for the time in which it is published, attracting prurient interest from listeners who like things a little crazy. It may also be controversial: some of the most esteemed works of Cult Fiction have been banned at some point or another” After being on tour and playing dozens of gigs with songs from the album, it was finally time to record «Cult Fiction - Cult Fiction» in 2013. Drummer Espen Granseth (Delvoid, Fay Wildhagen) was involved in developing the songs and the live shows, and Andre Thung (THC, The Meads Of asphodel UK, and Fraction Distraction) joined the trip to Liverpool to record the drums on the album. The album was made at Aurum Production in less than 37 hours - with all our force and hard concisely work. What we brought to Liverpool was a bunch of very well rehearsed songs and an enormous amount of energy. Thanks to the amazing studio engineers Jonathan Nield and Alexander Dalby, we returned with an amazing product. Since 2012, Cult Fiction has delivered energetic live shows at every concert. Our dynamic way of playing makes our songs jam into each other so that both we and the listeners forget all about time and space. In December 2012 we played two gigs under very special circumstances - our singer had a heart attack during both gigs and had a pacemaker inserted the day after. This year we also went to Sweden to record a pre-production of the album: eight optimists
