With the essence of a nomadic musician, Mexican rocker Cuevo Perez, known simply as “Cuevo”, has been traveling the Latin Alternative rock scene with his bluesy riffs and lyrics of love, life and rock n' roll. His debut solo project Hasta Que el Sol Se Vaya, featuring drummer Enrique "Bugs" Gonzalez (Los Lobos, Aleks Syntek, Jumbo), guitarist Fran Iturbe (Enrique Bunbury, Mikel Erentxun), and bassist Cesar Pliego (Kinky), showcases the talent of this experienced artist. Playa, demonstrates his ability to downplay heavy guitar riffs with light lyrics of fun and hope, while the powerful vocals in Para Ti embrace all of the elements of pure rock. The yearning melodies and lyrics in “Transparente” showcase his ability to embrace a softer approach to his signature rock sound.
