Cudù was an experimental / art rock band from Florence, Italy. The group started in 1985 with a experimental new wave style (similar to A Certain Ration, Contorsions, etc.) with a definitive post-punk / funk / no wave effect. Paolo Lotti and Luca Mazzantini will produce together other two very good avant-rock records: "Vivo" (1989) and "Waterplay" (1990), the second with the collaboration of three great musicians as Steven Brown (Tuxedomoon), Luc Van Lieshout (Tuxedomoon) and Christian Burchard (Embryo). Cudù ended their activities in 1990. Paolo Lotti after the end of the group will produce a solo album titled "Nuda solitu
