Taken from their Spotify page 1-18-2021: Cthulhu Dreamt is a concept project incorporating an original short story, art, and music that tells a tale of a parent's loss and their journey through science to reunite with their child. Combining different genres of metal (Progressive, Death, Black, Doom, Djent) with cinematic orchestral and synth music, the album can be listened to as a continuous 45 minute experience, and is meant to be the musical representation of the story (included in liner notes of the physical release). Reed Reimer joined with Jeremy Myslinski (Moon and Snow) in July of 2020 to start writing music. Composing concurrently as the short story by Reed and Benjamin Emory Larson was being written, they brought Jake Myslinski (The Coming Darkness) on board, and finally Nathan Berntson joined to finish the band's numbers. The band are working on music for a follow up release that continues the story of science gone wrong, and cosmic horrors ravaging existence as we know it.
