There are several bands called Crimson Wave. The first one is a young, all-female rock band from Baltimore, MD playing a fuzzy and shoegazey style of punk-minded rock and roll. For fans of Best Coast, Hole, Joy Division, Mazzy Starr and My Bloody Valentine. Another Crimson Wave is the five-piece band from Ried im Innkreis, in Austria. The band consists of Gabriele Rumpl on lead vocals, Christian Streitberger on backing vocals and lead guitar, Markus Hofpointner on lead guitar, Wolfgang Bleckenwegner on bass guitar and Markus Schuesslbauer on drums and percussion. Since October, 31st 2006 their first Demo Album is on the market, but the best way to get to know them is to visit one of their live concerts! For more details visit their homepage.
