Formed in 2018 Crimson Bloom and releasing two albums and 8 singles in that time, Crimson Bloom have been relentless forerunners in the nascent “baggy” revival but constantly evolving their sound from the original sources. Taking elements of alternative and classic rock, funk, psychedelia and Acid House and throwing them into the blender they also manage to inject heart and soul into the lyrics and melodies. From the romance of the underdog to attacking the class system and beyond these songs have meaning but are also infused with an electric energy that drives them along. The band split up in 2021.
