There are (at least!) three bands under the name of Crimen. Crimen (Mexico) - REST IN POWER! The idea for this band comes to be on april 24 2008, during a gig in mexico city and with a couple of beers inside us. One week later, on may 4th we get together to drink a bottle of vodka and write some punk songs in the process. right there we knew we had something that we liked, overcoming the difficult phase of "drunk talk band" to becoming an actual musical proyect. 2 months later we have our first gig on july 4th under the not-so-fortunate name of "infierno bagdad". On july 20 we record a 9 song demo (one cover song) live on 8 tracks in a borrowed practice space, having the colaboration of our good friend Sol with 3 lyrics The idea always was to do something different than what we do in our other bands and pay tribute to all those bands we love, honoring the influences of our influences without complications, 3 friends doing the only thing we know how to do more or less ok. This is CRIMEN (crime) *IMPORTANT: even though we're basically nihilists dissilusioned with the state of the world we still care for some principles we've had in our lives for the last years, being mainly the do it yourself ethics and the rejection of all this "isms" (you know them, racisim, sexism, etc) this is punk, add us first and foremost if you like the band, if your interested in seeing us play, get whatever stuff we release or if you know us personally, not just to have more myspace friends, seems ob
