Creutzfeldt & Jakob are a German hip-hop group from Witten, consisting of Philipp Dammann (Flipstar), Laki Polichronidis (Lakmann), Till Grönemeyer (Till Tomorrow), and Sebastian Edler (DJ Edler). The group gained recognition in the German underground rap scene in 1999 with the release of the single "Partner Teil 1 + 2" on the label "Put da Needle to da Records." In 2000, they released their debut album "Gottes Werk und Creutzfelds Beitrag," which brought them wider attention, particularly through the track "Fedehandschuh," featuring MC Kool Savas. Following this release, Creutzfeldt & Jakob left "Put da Needle to da Records" and signed with Universal Music. Their second album, "2 Mann Gegen den Rest," appeared in 2003 and included the single "Heute Nacht." The record showed a stronger influence from the American rap scene but was less commercially successful. After leaving Universal Music, Flipstar co-founded the label "Selfmade Records" with German rapper Slick One. Since then, Creutzfeldt & Jakob have not released any new material.
