Crazexpert is an electronic music producer based in Herndon, Virginia. She started producing in Ableton Live Lite 10 in May of 2020 to make music to accompany her game development. She has also been learning the piano since 2014. Crazexpert’s first single, smooth river, was released in September 2021, featuring synthesized and mesmerizing sounds. This theme continued throughout the rest of the year, forming a compilation album known 2o. Bright Future from 2o was also featured in AT-ËP from the music group Ëcostamma. After this, Crazexpert worked towards her debut album, waterway. In the process, many tracks were scrapped and the album was constantly being reworked. As a result, she began to find her rhythm in music producing. "waterway" is filled with a variety of sounds from many electronic genres yet still with an unmistakable soothing tone. It was released in April of 2021, four months after the last 2o single. Crazexpert then focused on working on her skills as a producer. She upgraded to Live Intro 11 in May 2021, allowing for added complexity in her tracks. Late June 2021, she joined the NJOM label, run by Minimusnoah. This is also when the ideas for tracks on hawk were formed. In August of 2021, the release of “the slow passing of time” established a new robust style, as well as the use of microtonal tuning.
