The idea of forming a punk group starts at the end of 1980 in an art school from Paolo Mileo and Michele Laginestra. In April 1981 the group starts working. The original line up it's an ever-changing mess: Michele (vocals and/or drums), Marco Ricci (an excellent blues guitarist who was also playing with "Big Fat Mama"), Luca Taddeo (a very clever drummer playing with Paolo since they were very young), Gino Spennati (from "Establishment" as bass player) and Paolo Mileo as guitar or keyboards player. It was the chaos. Very soon, due to the coming and going of Marco Ricci and pressed by Marco Menduni for playing with us, we decide to accept him as a guitar player. Marco Menduni left the "Establishment" and becomes the official guitar player of the band. Later Michele Laginestra left the group for not very important reasons. So Marco Menduni and Paolo became the whole of the band. Then (in 1983) Franco Zaio comes out of the fog and starts to play drums with us. With this line up the Crapping Dogs go on to 1985. In that year Marco Murdolo, a very good anything-player, joins us as a solo guitar. Then, having a good level player, it became possible to step out of punk and start playing a higher standard music. The name of the band became "Lost" and goes forth in that way until Autumn 1986 when Paolo left for personal reasons. "Lost" go on playing for seven years in a not very interesting style.
