Beginnings CRANEÓN is a rock band from Madrid (Spain) founded by guitarist/singer Juanjo de Latorre in 2006, that delivers a blend of heavy-duty, gritty riffing, dense atmospheres, heady grooves and a unique vocal approach ranging from melancholy to solar-fueled rage. The band underwent several lineup changes, recorded 2 demos and toured Spain extensively before releasing their first official record: the Avanza EP (2012) which put them on the map and started to create a buzz as a promising act in the scene as they shared the stage with international acts such as Karma To Burn (USA), Pendejo (Holland), Deville (Sweden), Taura (Argentina) or Been Obscene (Austria). 2013 - Recording of the Debut Album The band enters Conladiva Studios (Madrid) to record their first LP , entitled Hacia El Sol (Spanish for Towards the Sun) produced by Christophe R. Moure, Manuel Cabezalí (Havalina) along with the band, which was now complete by José Luis Serzo on the drums and Javier Schoendorff (ex-Miguel Ríos band) on bass. 2014 - Hacia El Sol Released in April 2014 through the independent label Anomia, Hacia El Sol, illustrated by the hypnotic cover of prestigious artist Santiago Talavera, the album features guest appearances from El Pastuso, lead singer of Pendejo, and Manuel Cabezalí, from the renowned spanish band Havalina. Mondosonoro magazine offered an exclusive pre-release stream on their site and later gave the band a special mention in their best metal albums of 2014. The album w
