With songs from his debut album being bought by fans from across Europe it is no surprise that Craig MacDonald is excited about the future. For many years now his growing popularity has been well documented and it appears that now his chance may have finally come to break loose and achieve his potential. As always Craig is relaxed, wanting to talk about what makes him tick, music. The work that has gone into recording all the songs has taken time and you could say many of the expressions he displays reveal his relief in getting it all done. After all, this has been a long time coming. Not one to dwell on the past Craig is brief about much of the history behind the music but does put down his experience in the UK as a major factor. Moving over to England a few years back was a big step for Craig as he formed a band that appeared eager to go places and make music a priority. After many promises went unfulfilled and the band was obviously going nowhere Craig became determined to make his mark as a solo artist. Enter Charlie Moore, drummer and engineer extraordinaire; he was instrumental in helping Craig get many of his songs from the black board onto CD. Thanks to Charlie’s interest in the project both he and Craig were able to play many of the instruments needed themselves. It was because of the friendship the two of them developed, that what can be a long and tedious experience became an exciting and uplifting journey.
