"Cradle Catholic" is the phrase commonly used for a person who is born into a family that practices Roman Catholicism. This term is in no way an indicator as to what level of personal education and faith a person may have. I WAS born into such a family (and have chosen that path for myself), however I don't believe it dictates any kind of supremacy. I just like the way the words sound together. Just fun with alliteration kids. That being said, I am making music for several reasons. The primary reason is for the praise and glorification of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The second reason is because I personally enjoy creating heavy music. The third reason is because, while I see MANY MANY popular heavy bands that identify themselves as Christians I have NEVER seen one that specifically identifies themselves as CATHOLIC christians! In no way does that mean that I don't recognize those Christian bands as Warriors in Christ, it just means that none of them identify themselves as I do. Just as almost any band with a positive message is recognized as having such, I hope that this music can be seen for the TRUTH it holds for Christians (and others!) outside of the Catholic community. Also, you might find that some of my friends here on mypace are not Christians whatsoever. Some may even have messages that are Satanic or blasphemous! Do not be alarmed. What better way to expose them to the good word? What better way to have people (who would never hear it otherwise) listen?
