Cowboy Sadness describes themselves as "new yorks premier jambient supergroup." The group is comprised of individual artists Peter Silberman of The Antlers, David Moore of Bing & Ruth, and Nick Principe a.k.a Port St. Willow. Via the group's Bandcamp page: "The stylistic signatures of each member - Moore’s heavy, undulating organs, Silberman’s melancholic guitars, & Principe’s galloping, hypnotic drums - form thick textures, cavernous spaces, & deep grooves." The project debuted on December 1st, 2023 releasing 2 singles First & Second Rodeo and simultaneously announcing that the group's debut full length album "Selected Jambient Works, Vol. 1" would be arriving January 19th, 2024.
