Cory Band is a Welsh brassband. They are recognised as one of the Principality's finest and most innovative music ensembles. The Cory Band is currently (2019) conducted by Philip Harper. In 2009 Cory celebrated their 125th anniversary. The Cory Band has won many contests, including in 2016 being the first band ever to win the four 'majors' (National Championships of Great Britain, British Open, European Championships, Brass in Concert Championships) in a single year.
