A native of the central coast of California, he has spent the last four years playing on stages all around Boston while finishing two degrees at Berklee College of Music. Cory is not just a skilled singer and guitar player, he has often surprised audiences by pulling out his saxophone during the set and jamming along with the band. A storyteller at heart, Cory is always searching for a new perspective: “To take a typical situation and be able to tell a story you’ve never heard, that is the goal I start with before writing every song.” Whether an acoustic show, or with the band, Cory Allen Staats is one of New England's newest must-see acts!
