Corrado Fantoni, born in Ancona, is a composer, keyboardist, music educator, and independent researcher in archaeo-acoustics. He graduated from the Conservatory of Pesaro in Choral Music and Choir Conducting. Encouraged by Goffredo Petrassi, he studied composition under Franco Donatoni at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome and later in Milan. He also trained in Electronic Music Composition with Walter Branchi at LEMS, the Experimental Electronic Music Laboratory in Pesaro. Fantoni has had an active career as both composer and performer, participating in contemporary music festivals across Europe and the Middle East. His works have been broadcast by major networks such as RAI, BBC, ARTE, and ORF. His scores and recordings are published by labels like Fonè Edizioni, MAP Editions, and RAI Cinema. Over the years, he has received numerous awards in international composition competitions, including the "Premio Alpe Adria" and the "Electroacoustic Musica Nova Prize." His compositions span a wide range, from orchestral and chamber music to electronic works, often commissioned by prestigious institutions like CDMC in Madrid and the Adriatico Mediterraneo Festival.
