The history of the Finnish electro group Corporate 09 dates back to the early 1990's when the experimentally tuned minds of Mika Vainio and Pertti Grönholm were encountered. After the debuting releases of Corporate 09 Mika Vainio was concentrated on his solo projects and is best known as Ø and as a member of Pan Sonic. Pertti Grönholm is the mastermind of Corporate 09, Dystopia, Disaster Village, Project JPO and The New Panthalassa. His projects have been released in several Finnish and Belgian labels like Unitunes, Cyberware Productions and Barramundi. In addition he has produced music and sound environments for media programmes and art exhibitions. A new record label by Corporate 09, called Valimo Productions, was started in 2000.
