Artist
Cormorant Tree Oh is the moniker of Irish experimental folk musician, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist Mary Keane. Her combines balalaika, harmonium, and percussion instruments with found sound and ambient noise, along with dark, vivid lyricism. Her first self-titled album, alongside a series of illustrations, was released in 2018. Her second album 'Swoontide' was released in 2022 on Trapped Animal Records. The Thin Air recently described her as 'one of the country's most compelling experimental solo artists'. She has performed (and been exhibited) at music and arts festivals across Ireland, and has been a support act for several of her fellow folk and avant-garde musicians, including Lisa O’Neill, Senyawa, and A Ritual Sea.
