The emotional ballad, composed by Jean-Pierre Miller with lyrics by Alain Garcia, earned 142 points, making it Luxembourg's fifth and final Eurovision victory. The song became a hit across Europe, launching her into the Franco-European spotlight. Following her Eurovision success, Corinne released several singles, including "Vivre à deux" (1983) and "Dessine-moi" (1986), along with the album "Soleil" in 1993, featuring the single "S'il n'y avait pas les mots". Despite the initial boost from Eurovision, her subsequent releases struggled to match the same level of commercial success. In the 2000s, she transitioned to jazz, showcasing her versatility and passion for more intimate, sophisticated music.
