Corey Flowers is a classical guitarist currently based in Athens, GA, where he completed a DMA in Guitar Performance with a minor in composition. Music includes works for solo guitar and arrangements of classical works for electric guitars. Experimentation with both classical form & harmony and post-tonal elements occurs in many songs written for the traditional 4 piece rock/metal setting. As a composer, he is interested in writing solo and chamber works for the guitar that reflect the past while searching for their own voice. In addition to classical guitar pursuits, he also enjoys writing and performing post-rock and progressive metal inspired music with a 4-piece band.
