Cor Solis started in late 2004 e.v. as an internet-based musical collaboration between Goran Brkić (gregor93) and Milan Putnik. They made some songs together and worked on the project for about a year, however, due to professional obligations Milan couldn't devote his time to the project. Cor Solis was put on ice until Ana Herman (lebensblume) joined, with some of her lyrics, her powerful voice and amazing energy she put in live performance. Shortly after, they started composing more, played a MuzikFantastique Autumn Equinox gig 2005 in the middle of a forest accompanied by Dražen (daredevillive)of Zagrob on accordion. This went extremely well, giving Cor Solis the motivation to move forward, as well as giving their listeners a first peek of Cor Solis live. Many months passed and some more songs got written. Cor Solis played a gig in Ivanić Grad together with Zagrob and Smrt i Čekić, and received some more attention from radio promoters and magazines, both Croatian and foreign. In late 2005 Cor Solis withdraws from publicity and creates in silence. In May 2006 Eleonora Bruk joined, an academic viola player of amazing talent. After a concert in Sisak, supporters react very well, especially online. Nora graduates and moves out of the city to pursue other interests, and the lack of motivation on Gregor and Ana's side is almost palpable at this time.
