Copy Your Idols is a music project headed by Gary Klatt, a mixed media artist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded between 2006-2007, his work under this moniker consists of experimental electronic music that blends contemporary rhythms with substances from other genres, primarily drum & bass, ambient, industrial, darkwave, and the tongue-in-cheek style "IDM." On 2 October 2010, the first Copy Your Idols EP, Of All Things Filthy & Free, was released through Enough Records. In 2012, Copy Your Idols collaborated with Enough Records on the 99 Anonymous Mixtape, a politically-driven compilation aimed at addressing internet policing and digital privacy. On 26 June 2023, the first complete album, There's Beauty in Being Broken, was released through Enough Records.
