Convex Model is the new project of Nick K. Maldoror (a.k.a. Nick Kapantzakis, member of Human Puppets, Plexiglas & Dislocation Genders). Back in 2017 Nick Kapantzakis (synths/vocals) along with Stavroula Tsiara (lyrics/visuals) released the bands first output, a 6 track tape called Intersecting Planes (101 copies, self-released). In 2018 three new members joined in, Eleni Tzouna (synths), Kyriakos Tsakalidis (drums) and George Papadopoulos (bass), thus forming a full band that produces more complex soundscapes with more instruments in play. Together they self-released their debut LP, Life In A Glass Cube and their 2nd, LP Quantity of Motion was released by Kernkrach Records in March 2020. The band currently is playing in as many venues as possible following faithfully the DIY New Wave/Post Punk aesthetics of the late '70s and early '80s.
