Conversion Delay is an alternative rock group based out of Columbus, Ohio. It was formed as a two-piece in May of 2012 by Nathaniel M Grosh and JD Johnston. Early performances utilized live looping, keyboard voices and several guitars. Recording for their first album “Stepping Stone” began in 2012 at Amish Electric Chair Studios in Athens, Ohio. It was released for digital purchase on March 26, 2013. Songwriting continued as the band expanded into a three piece with the addition of drummer Nick Allen. Nearly two years in the making, the second full length release "Face in the Crowd" was released November 30, 2014. Guitarist Sebastian Olsson has since joined the live line-up.
