Founded in 2008 Contact High wasted their adolescence playing and listening to loud music in their parent’s basements. Influenced by the punk rock of their youth and the early 2000s garage rock bands, the soundtracks of Spaghetti Westerns and Old School Hip Hop, Contact High defy easy categorization. 2016 marks the release of their first full length record ’Lessons from Defeat’, recorded and produced by Tom Zwanzger at S.T.R.E.S.S. Studios (Anti-Flag, Astpai, Bad Religion) and mastered by Gavin Lurssen at Lurssen Mastering (QOTSA, Foo Fighters), with Artwork by the Viennese breakout artist PP.
