Constanze Hochwartner Constanze Hochwartner (born Austria) is an Austrian organist, pianist, and recording artist known for her international concert performances and cross-genre recordings that blend classical, pop, and cinematic styles. She performs solo and as part of the Duo Steiner-Hochwartner with trombonist Peter Steiner. Early Life and Education Constanze Hochwartner began studying music at a very young age, receiving her first piano lessons at age three. She demonstrated early musical promise, earning recognition in youth competitions in Austria. In 2005 she was accepted into the gifted students program at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where she initially focused on piano before shifting her primary instrument to the organ. She completed her master’s degree in organ performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in 2019, studying under professors including Univ. Prof. Ulrich Walther and Mag. Karin Tafeit. Career Hochwartner has established a distinguished career as a solo performer on both organ and piano, giving recitals and concerts in major venues around the world, including Europe, the United States, South America, Asia, and Australia.
