Conor Albert is a South London-based artist, songwriter and producer. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, he started making beats at the age of 8, finding an audience for his early demos on SoundCloud. It was listening to FKJ and Jordan Rakei whilst learning piano in his teens that encouraged Conor to make soulful, jazz-influenced music. Released in Summer 2020, Conor Albert’s debut EP ‘Collage 1’ demonstrated his innate musicianship and production skills and featured vocal collaborations with Marie Dahlstrøm and Carmody. A frequent collaborator, the follow up ‘Smile EP’ saw Conor establish a creative partnership with rising talent Alice Auer. With over 5 million accumulative streams across the two EPs, Conor’s music has been championed by BBC Radio 1 (Jack Saunders; Future Artists, Sian Elery’s Chillest Show), BBC Radio 2 (Jamie Cullum), Spotify (7 x NMF UK, 3 x Our Generation), as well as key tastemaker press including The Independent, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash Magazine, EARMILK, Vogue Paris and more. In a whirlwind 6 months, Conor’s socials have experienced astronomical growth, helping him catch the attention of Justin Bieber, Questlove, Jacob Collier and Zane Lowe, and connect with fellow musicians including Tom Misch, Disclosure and Mac Ayres.
