Conjunto Tlacotalpan are one of the most authentic exponents of the true Son Jarocho a musical style connected to the south of Mexican state of Veracruz. The group is led by Don Jose Tlacotalpan Bizcola Aguirre. Dedicated to the teaching tradition in Veracruz Casa de la Cultura de Tlacotalpan, the teacher Aguirre and his colleagues have had the opportunity to rescue some tunes that were about to disappear forever and now offer the public interested in and enjoy artistic expressions of the Mexican people. Line up: Andres Aguirre Chacha (harp), Cirilo Promotor Decena (requinto), Jose Aguirre Vera, (jarana) and Evaristo Silva Vera (tambourine).
