Congression is a Canadian alternative hard rock band that was formed in the summer of 2011 by Chris Keener (Vocals and Guitars) and Brett Gooding (Bass and Vocals). The two musicians would spend the next year writing and rehearsing original music that would evolve into nine solid tracks for the bands debut studio album If Only. Recording, mixing, and mastering was completed in the early spring of 2012 at the bands home studio. A musically diverse and dynamic record; each song is a unique experience giving the listener something new to look forward to with each verse. Following the independent release of the album and a long and dedicated search for a permanent drummer, the band welcomed Jeff Spaleta onto the kit in June 2012. The band has been preparing a setlist of original music that will feature tracks from If Only and newer songs that have yet to be released. Congression finds a groove and won’t quit.
