Concrete Society is a punk rock/alternative rock band from Sweden with Richard Blom (lead vocals and guitar), Robert Blom (bass, backup vocals and acoustic guitar), Andreas Wassberg (guitar, backup vocals) and Daniel Frostberg (drums). The band was founded in the Stockholm suburb of Vallentuna in 1994. Already the following year the band's first record Different Opinions was released on the record label Vital Records, founded by Richard and a friend in the early years of 17. With the release of their first CD doors opened to more and greater opportunities all over the country, and they quickly earned the reputation of being a tight energetic live band with good, solid material. In 1997 the CD was followed up by the release of the compilation disc Vitalized Punk Rock (Vital Records), with songs influenced from bands such as Bad Religion and Social Distortion. The following years the band divided their time playing at various venues, writing new material and creating their own sound. The band received attention in both media and radio and the first break came in 2006 through the release of the single "First To Blame"; a song that topped the Most Wanted-chart for weeks with a high radio rotation along with the self-produced music video that was recorded live with over 450.000 people watching in middle of the streets of Stockholm. The video got the attention of TV channels such as MTV, ZTV and TV4. Concrete Society are currently signed to indie label Frontside Productions fo
