CONCRETE LUNG are an experimental metal project formed in late 2007. 2009: CONCRETE LUNG signed to independent label ARMALYTE RECORDS and released their debut EP 'WASTE OF FLESH' in February 2010. Incorporating elements of early Pitch Shifter, Ministry and Skinny Puppy. Their debut EP saw the band combine these influences and spitting them back out as lethal shards of dissonance. The 'Waste of Flesh' EP received critically acclaim in the press and on line. 2010: CONCRETE LUNG continued with high profile supports with some of the industrial scenes top bands including FUNKER VOGT, GRENDEL, AGONOIZE and FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY. The band also landed a spot at the UK's biggest industrial festival INFEST. 2011: CONCRETE LUNG established themselves with more coruscating live appearances alongside such seminal acts as THE YOUNG GODS and LEÆTHER STRIP. The band then set out to record a follow up to the 'Waste of Flesh' EP, this time in the form of a full length album 'VERSIONS OF HELL' expanding far beyond the sound of their debut EP. The LP was spewed forth in February of 2011 again to great reviews. Rock Sound describing the album as "Grey as fuck 8/10". The band also secured interviews an writ-ups in Zillo magazine Germany and Terrorizer UK, also featuring on the cover mount cd of the latter.
