The Concertzender is a Dutch radio station that broadcasts classical music, early music, jazz, world music, chanson, new music and pop music, while not confining itself to popular movements and going off the beaten track. A group of volunteers, including musicologists, experts and critics, is responsible for the programming. In the period that the Concertzender was part of the public broadcaster, there were also a few paid employees. By making and broadcasting concert recordings, special attention is drawn to current Dutch musicians, projects and concerts.
