con.txt ['kɒntɛkst] is a 4-piece music act from Vilnius, Lithuania. Merging expressionistic and romantic melodies with post-hardcore inspired song structures. The project began back in 2019 and was started by "Cherry" Thomas on drums, "Mellow" Mike on bass and Sunlow on guitar. In around 2020 the fellas were joined by Johnny on guitar/vocals, and afterwards Zack who took up the position of lead vocalist. Soon enough in 2021 Sunlow decided to leave the band for reasons unknown, thus Zack then picked up the guitar in addition to doing vocals. In the summer of 2022 the band played their first live show on the rooftop of Opera Social House. In the summer of 2023 the band released three singles. And in September of the same year Zack decided to leave the band for reasons unknown taking with him the careless drug induced punk rock attitude that was very prominent throughout his stay with the project. And the one who would replace him was none other than Evil Zack. Arriving from the darkened depths of performing with such acts like the post-sludge outfit "Deprivacija" and the progressive post-punk group "Cats in Grass" Evil Zack brought with him some much needed musical fidelity and academic seriousness to the project. Thus the final line-up was established and the band would go on to endlessly entertain themselves with the randomness of their future musical direction.
