http://comradestanchev.com Comrade Stanchev is an acoustic band based in Cologne, Germany. The group was started by Pavka and Viktor as a side project from their band Tusivo Grey. Their first gig was in January 2008, but they played only sporadically throughout the year, choosing instead to focus on writing and playing with Tusivo Grey. In 2009, however, the pair started to develop Comrade Stanchev´s repertoire and have played several venues in Cologne over the last few months. Viktor´s brother Didko has also joined the band on Hammond organ. Comrade Stanchev´s music is characterised by strong melodies, complex harmonies and the playing expertise of the Stanchev brothers.
