Throughout our adolescence to adulthood, God has seen fit to bless our family with the gifts and talents to share His love through music, and to share the testimony of our lives and heritage. Though it took many years of preparing us, like sending Brad to Belmont University in Nashville, TN, and Kerie to North Greenville College where she met her husband, now Common Destiny piano player, Josh, to developing Jay's amazing ability to make anyone laugh and feel like they are loved, God continues to take us on an amazing ride together. Unlike many families today, we can honestly say that we are where we are today due to the prayers and fruitfulness of the generations that have come before us. We lost our Granny Ethel several years ago, and up until that point we had never suffered a loss that great. At her funeral we learned another reason for the paths our lives had taken. When she was in her early 20's, she felt a call on her life to be a missionary. She didn't know how or if she would be able to go, she just knew she had the call. As time went by, money became scarce due to the Depression and the ability for her to go among the nations started to disappear. On the day that she felt she had to give up the call, she got on her knees before God and prayed that the generations to come through her would be able to go and do what she couldn't do.
