Comfort for change is a five piece progressive rock band hailing from Phoenix AZ. Original members Cam Cook (guitar) , Richard Carlise (vocals), and Anthony Gabuzzi (guitar) first formed a band called Stuckmode in Los Angeles in 2003, but later in 2005 evolved into Comfort for Change after finding Steven Medigivich (bass) coming from Kill the New Kelly and in 2006 they came across a new drummer, Ben anderson, who played for Depiction of a Massacre. That same year they created a self-titled demo which featured 6 original songs, such as, "Circles", "Misplaced", "Sentimental Blood," as well as the song named after the band, "Comfort For Change" This, and continuously playing shows throughout the southwest area of the states, gained them the fan base needed to work on their first full length EP. They recorded their 15 track debut album, "Stories That Didn't Hit the Page..." which was released in October 2008. Comfort has shared the stage with Flyleaf, Jimmy Eat World, Plain White Tees, Wicked Wisdom, Hot Hot Heat, Hurt, Eisley, Bedouin Soundclash, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Invitro, Chester Benington, Julien K, Hed P.E., Boy Hits Car, Black Light Burns Onesidezero, Depswa, Cage 9, Digital Summer, Vayden, 32 Leaves and many others.
