Colour Me Crazy is a solo project created by Kaitlin Wheaton, a West Virginia native. She started writing music in 2006 and has been gaining popularity ever since. She has played a part in other musicians' work, including Acoustic pop duo Almost ON Time. Although Colour Me Crazy is widely known by her name, she also has many other names some of which are Katie, K-Sweet and Schmemo (not to be confused with Never Shout Never's album Demo Schmemo) She enjoys getting out in the public and getting to know her fans and making new fans at shows. "It's a really good experience, it warms my heart to know that people actually listen to my music, and like it enough to see me play" she said. Her bright red hair grabs the public's eye and sometimes confuses them. In a December 2009 interview she said, "I don't think I do, but people stop me on the street, or just see me and yell 'Hey Hayley.' It's fun to play along when they ask if I'm Hayley Williams, I just say 'yeah I gained a few on tour, Paramore loves you'. It's a lot of fun."
