There are two artists with this name: 1) electronic art pop (now known as Obi Best) 2) a deep psychedelic ambient trio from Ohio When she's not moonlighting as back-up singer for acclaimed retro/pop group Bird and the Bee (Bluenote), Alex Lilly is painstakingly crafting the artful electronic pop of COLORFORMS. Frequently appearing live as a quartet, Colorforms exhibits a compositional sensibility that's as at home with Stereolab as it is with Prokofiev. Their debut album is due for release sometime between Valentine's Day and the Spring Equinox. "It will make an awesome housewarming gift and it will be brilliant."
