The Dutch Hiphop formation Colombiaanse Bloedgroep consists of DJ Darin Guermonprez (a.k.a. Darin G.) and MC José Klaase (a.k.a. Juiceisdunaam). They operate from Amsterdam. Both were born in Colombia (their name is Dutch for 'Colombian blood group'). First releases stem from 2004, their first full album was released in 2008: Guerilla Tactiek (Guerrilla Strategy). This concept album is fully rapped in Dutch and was accompanied by a theatre tour. On the album they look critically at themselves. Even getting philosophic in a Socratic way ("I know I know nothing"). Other themes of the album are anti-violence and their South-American descent. Both members have various activities outside Colombiaanse Bloedgroep. Guermonprez produces beats for other crews; Klaase is a gifted actor.
