Cognitive Atrophy was the creation of Nick Douglas and Turner Jabbour. Originally a Metalcore band, they quickly changed their genre to something more heavy. The true Cognitive Atrophy was born. As they continued to write songs, they added Josh Cockrell, Brian Baker, and Matt Lace to their lineup in late 2010. As 2011 opens up, so will the band. Already playing shows in Tennessee and Mississippi and planning tours for the summer, things certainly look promising for this Memphis metal band.
