CREE AKA Cocc Pistol Cree is an independent artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She gained an interest in music early on in her adolescence, but picked up writing and rapping when she was 14 years old. While CREE’s Father and Mother are her original musical influences, she credits artists like Mase, the original Hot Boys, Yo-yo, and Queen Latifah as her musical inspirations. In 2008 CREE took a break from the music to focus on school and Motherhood. Recently inspired by friends and fellow artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Glasses Malone, and Nipsey Hustle, CREE has decided to get back into the game. She recently dropped her debut mixtape, Postpartum, which features the hit street single “Nigga You Broke.” CREE, given the street name CoccPistolCree due to her witty ability with raps and rhymes, aims to inspire others through her own struggles.
