Clyde and Clem's Whiskey Business is an Austin, TX based, non-traditional bluegrass band. Composed of members Clyde Clowe (guitar/vocals), Clem Cowan (guitar/mandolin/kazoo/vocals), Skwerl (upright bass), Ol' Red (banjo/vocals), Boxcar Stanley (washboard) and Smokin' Guns (harmonica), the six piece band formed in the summer of 2007. CCWB has played a bi-weekly residency at legendary Austin venue, The Hole in the Wall, for the last two years. Influences include Mother McCree's Uptown Jug Champions, The White Ghost Shivers, Tenacious D, Old Crow Medicine Show and Yonder Mountain String Band. They are known for their raucous live shows, bawdy lyrics, hard drinking, and rowdy fans. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.

Their work invites curiosity about what happens when skilled musicians
