Cloud Seeding is a music project by guitarist Kevin Serra (Lot 49, This Ascension) The project was conceived as a space for collaboration to showcase vocalists he admires. There is no one signature sound, no fixed or preconceived notions, just a space for improvisation that is free to change. He has worked with Marissa Nadler, Nadine Carina, Greg Hatem of Heart of Hearts, Sara Syms, Kris English of Carey Mulligan and Alexa Wilding. Serra intends to release future singles for each collaboration. The sixth single he worked with Alexa Wilding on the track "Mirage." The fifth single he worked with Kris English of Carey | Mulligan on the track "RaVe." The fourth single he worked with Sara Syms on "Three" and released instrumental "Tryptofin" which is feature on Book One cassette compilation by Otherworldly Mystics Records. On the third single, Serra worked with Swiss singer Nadine Carina who now resides in Liverpool, England where she attended Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA). The two collaborated online and created the track "The Light." On the second single, "Newer Testament" Serra worked with Greg Hatem of Heart of Hearts. For the first single, Serra worked with Boston’s singer Marissa Nadler while she was briefly living in Brooklyn just a few blocks away.
