there are 2 artists known as Clodhopper 1) Clodhopper was formed in Missoula, Montana in 1995 by Danny Pearson, and local record store owner Tim Bierman. Together, with a revolving rhythm section which included the husband-wife team Justin and Anne Stark and Montana native Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam, Clodhopper brought its hard driving hillbilly sounds to the local logger bars and punk clubs as well as to theatres and clubs on the West Coast.
