Clockwork Conundrum

In a magical basement in Seattle 2008 Clockwork Conundrum was formed by Hannah Phillips (guitar, violin, vocals), Alex Thomas (mandolin, percussion), Nate Bade (cello) and Mark Via (Tenor Banjo, Kazorn) and frequently (spontaneously) features other local musicians such as Andrew Kunellis (guitar). Their interesting hybrid of Appalachian string band and classical quartet blends chamber music atmosphere and folk-rock aesthetics. Having successfully completed a three song demo the band is looking forward to performing around the Pacific Northwest and recording a full length album this fall. All artists are associated with other bands recorded by Elvish Paisley Productions such as The Unforgivable Curses (Hannah, Alex) and Teh Hausarz (Alex, Mark).
