Guess you'll have to launch your new record 'Trust' (out September 8 thru Yes Rave) in Berlin or Bristol or somewhere like that like some kinda genius, ok? Clifford Carpenter's 'Trust' is quite the heavy journey, gotta say. Recorded in 3 days and taking influence from trip hop, industrial, house, punk and shoegaze the record details the violent breakdown of a relationship torn apart by mental illness, drug use, day jobs and housing crisis. First single 'Work' (dropping July 21) is a beautiful dark twisted fantasy filled with anxiety and social media that sounds like a morning-after Modafinal party with Morrissey.
